I'm An Aunt ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Mathias John Froemming . . .

Entered all of our lives at 4:00 am, Saturday January 12th, of 2008.

He is beyond adorable, perfect in every way.

Being an aunt is more amazing and neat than I ever expected! I'm so happy :-) And I know Rian and Whittney are even more thrilled than I am.

Even though Mathias is deftly stealing
all my thunder (who cares about wedding plans when there's a new baby in the family!) I love him, and want to spend every minute holding him, and marveling in his perfectly formed little body.

God is so amazing.

Who else, but an everlasting, eternal God could have, or would have, thought up something so miracules as a baby.

How can any body ever hurt such a precious little one. Now, like so often before, i'm reminded of how and why babies and children are so precious to God.

He is the father of the fatherless, and the defender of the helpless.

Once upon a time, in a beautiful valley by a sparkling river; there lived a gorgeous maiden. She had light brown hair and beautiful green eyes.

Handsome Prince Robert was in search of a beautiful maiden. So he went to a ball to seek this beautiful maiden.
The night of the ball came clear and bright with a thousand stars sparkling in the midnight sky. Maiden Matilda was more excited than she had ever been before as she prepared for the ball.

But she could not go to the ball for she had nothing to wear, and she had been so excited. She had been looking forward to seeing the prince, but, alas, she could not go.

Finally, at the last minute, a dress arrived at her house, she was so excited that she could go to the ball. When she reached the hall the prince was smitten with her. He knew he loved her from then on. And falling to his knees he begged her to marry him and make him the happiest man in the world.

Matilda smiled, and paused in hesitation . . . “but” she said, “I do not know you, and well, err, I’m so sorry! You see my mother needs my help with, well, everything! I have 15 brother you know, 4 sets of twins.

“But you have to marry me, I would be lost without you!” Prince Robert exclaimed in anguish.

Then Maiden Matilda said, “I will think about it and give you my answer within the week”

She thought and thought about it, but already deep down in her heart she really knew she loved him.

But, then, what of Terrible Tom the baker? She had been promised to him as a bride since she was three. Oh’ what to do! She decided to go talk to terrible Tom. When she got to Terrible Tom’s bakery he asked her to marry him and she didn’t know what to do.

In that instant she relixed that she loved Prince Robert with all her heart, “NO! I cannot for my heart belongs to another” was maiden Matilda’s reply.

She looked sadily down at her hand, and there on her finger was a pink, green, and yellow ring made of daisy chain and speaking loudly of the man she detested. Oh’ what was maiden Matilda to do!?

She loved Prince Robert, but Terrible Tom made such good donuts she started to love him too, what to do. But she knew she could not love him for his donuts, and she also knew she loved Prince Robert, but she was promised to Terrible Tom, and the only way she would not have to marry Terrible Tom was if Prince Robert rescued her.

So prince Robert came to her and she told him what would happen. He took her to his castle and she stayed there, hidden in the tower, until their wedding day. On their wedding day Terrible Tom came and tried to take Maiden Matilda, “Oh’ Robby! I am yours and you are mine!” Maiden Matilda happily said, and they were pronounced husband and wife. But then disaster struck, or was it Terrible Tom. Rob lay there on the floor paralyzed.

Maiden Tilly cried, “Oh’ Tom! How could you” and leaning over kissed her beloved Rob – instantly he jumped to his feet fully recovered swept her into his arms and carried her off to his castle. And there they lived . . .
